I immediately think of young celebrities like Justin Bieber or others who have been elevated to great success in their field of work. Haters always seem to be close and are quick to express their distaste for the success of some of these individuals.
Frankly, most have stories of their own and most of these stories are fascinating to discover.
Sure, many have blemishes on their character or run-ins with the law. Most of us do to some extent. The difference, of course, is most of us can pack our blemishes neatly in the back of a closet somewhere instead of having them played out in the public eye.
Talking about celebrities is one thing but what about the success of others “closer to home”. What if others close to you are achieving success in their lives that you desire for your own? Can you celebrate the success of other when their success may be at the expense of progress towards your own goals?
